The energy declaration is a legal requirement that provides a clear picture of the property's energy class and energy performance. It is produced by certified energy experts and reported to the Swedish National Board of Housing, Building and Planning. The declaration shows how energy efficient the building is and provides suggestions for measures that can reduce operating costs and improve environmental performance.
With stricter EU requirements under the EPBD directive, the energy performance certificate is becoming an increasingly important tool, not only for complying with legislation, but also for developing and future-proofing the property.
