Miljöbyggnad is a Swedish environmental certification
There are three levels: bronze, silver and gold. The organisation behind the certification is the Sweden Green Building Council, which was founded in June 2009 by thirteen Swedish companies and organisations: Akademiska Hus, DTZ, Property Owners Sweden, Landlord, IVL, NCC, Malmö City Council, SEB, Skanska, City of Stockholm, Sweco, Vasakronan and White Architects Does it improve the building’s performance?.
The benefits of certification: provides quality assurance through independent auditing, meets growing demand from tenants and investors, enables the promotion of environmental and sustainability commitments, provides access to green finance, and demonstrates alignment with the EU’s Green Taxonomy (version 4.0 and later manuals).
