What is Energy declaration?

Energy declaration

An energy performance certificate is a document that describes a building's energy performance and is mandatory for most properties that are to be sold or rented out.

The energy declaration contains information about energy use, energy class and primary energy ratio, as well as recommendations for cost-effective measures to reduce energy use and improve the indoor environment. It is valid for ten years. An energy declaration can only be drawn up by a certified energy expert who then registers it in the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning's register. SI is registered with the National Board of Housing, Building and Planning as an energy expert, read more about our offer regarding energy declarations.
