This is how you, as a property owner, face increased electricity prices together with SI!

Every day, SI meets both large and small property owners who are concerned about the high electricity prices and who want to take strong action to address them.

SI has a range of measures when it comes to energy saving. Our more advanced “AI” solutions are usually not the first step – although it is of course important in a longer perspective. For example, SI has its own AI solution – SI Smartware – which is perfect for those players who have come a long way with their properties, or as a complement to other measures. In new partnerships, SI usually looks for other measures that provide more initial benefits.

– It can be something as simple as fixing a pump stop or adjusting something that is not working as intended in the existing property. Start where your feet are, simply put, we know that gives results. It can be about switching to more efficient lighting or usethe whole energyis it is the cheapest. With my background as an HVAC designer, I have a preference for controlling the heating and ventilation according to actual needs, says Ola Johansson.

SI's simple building blocks for energy-efficient properties
SI has developed its own model for creating energy efficiency. It has three central building blocks that all contribute strongly to the path towards the sustainable properties of the future. First and foremost, as in the example above, it is about taking the right measures at the right time based on the property's conditions. A second and equally important part is to visualize the "sustainability journey" so that EVERYONE who can contribute to the energy saving goals is both committed and inspired - for example, via goals and competitions (compare pedometer competitions). The third part is then to follow and celebrate the long-term gains - over a 1-3 year period the results are fantastic and the investments can be counted back several times over.

Together is not just a nice word for us at SI, but a way of being and working. It is often about educating and inspiring about reduced energy use. The importance of having the building integrated into a superior system cannot be emphasized enough. If you have access to qualitative data, you can detect errors, analyze which measures have yielded the most and see the results over time, concludes Ola Johansson.
